We live next to each other. We are your neighbors.
CZECH-ENGLISH ADVENTIST Church Prague Lhotka
The members and friends of the International Church Prague-Lhotka are Christians, recognizing only Bible as the source of Truth. The congregation of about 35 members meets at Zálesí 50, Prague 4. The languages spoken here are Czech and English. The service is interpreted into English simultaneously or some parts of the program are delivered directly in English. The Sabbath School class (study of the Bible) is held separately in English and Czech, or it is interpreted into the appropriate language.
The Sabbath services are designated for people of all ages and walks of life, families with children and seniors seeking hope and peace of the Lord our God; as written in the Fourth Commandment. We will be happy to welcome you among us and we believe that you too will be spiritually fulfilled. There are many questions that we discuss and we find answers to in the Bible.
The Fourth Commandment:
Exodus 20, 8-11 (ČEP Bible)
"Remember the Sabbath, that it should be holy to you. Six days you shall work and do all your work. But the Seventh day is the day of rest of the Lord your God. You shall do no work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your livestock, nor your guest who lives within your gates. In six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the day of rest and set it apart as holy."
We; the Seventh-day Adventists respect the Biblical Sabbath day, just as Jesus and his Apostles did.
Based on Biblical text, this special day separated by God, begins for us at sunset on Friday and ends at sunset on Saturday.
You can find the current sunset information here.
